Powerful oversize photograph of Biden, likely taken as Vice President, with a huge signature
Joseph Robinette Biden, Jr., 1942–. 46th President of the United States, 2021–2025. Stunning 8¼” x 11¾” black-and-white matte finish photograph signed Joe Biden.
This is a powerful oversize photograph of Biden, with his hands in his pockets and wearing his trademark aviator sunglasses, standing on the east portico of the Dwight D. Eisenhower Executive Office Building adjacent to the White House. The west end of the White House mansion and the entrance portico of the West Wing appear in the background. Given Biden’s apparent age, this image was likely taken when he served as Vice President of the United States under President Barack Obama from 2009 to 2017.
The Eisenhower Executive Office Building houses the Vice President’s Ceremonial Office, which the Vice President uses for meetings and press events. Biden’s primary office as Vice President was in the White House West Wing, down the hall from the Oval Office.
Biden was the oldest person ever elected and to serve as President of the United States. He was elected President on November 3, 2020, just 17 days shy of his 78th birthday on November 20. He was 82 when he left office on January 20, 2025.
This magnificent photo of Biden is one of the best that we have seen. We have done considerable research on this image but have not been able to find another copy of it, either signed or unsigned.
Biden has signed with a huge signature—4” high and 3½” long—in black Sharpie. The photo has a small handling mark in the dark area at Biden’s left elbow that is imperceptible unless the photo is turned just right in the light. Without it, the photo would be pristine. The photo thus is in very fine condition and would be outstanding in a framed display.
