Harry Andrew Blackmun, 1908-1999.  Associate Justice, Supreme Court of the United States, 1970-1994.  Typed Letter Signed, Harry A. Blackmun, one page, 8½" x 11", on blind embossed, engraved stationery of the Supreme Court of the United States, Washington, D.C., June 11, 1990.

Blackmun thanks a Supreme Court police officer for her card and her homemade cookies.  He loved her cookies, and she baked them for him routinely.  He teased his wife, Dottie, by telling her that she baked for him before they were married but stopped doing so when he married her.

This letter is in fine condition.  It has normal mailing folds and staple holes in the upper left corner, affecting nothing.  Blackmun has signed with a strong black signature.

Unframed.
