Rudy Vallée

Rudy Vallée, 1901-1986.  Vintage formal portrait photograph by renowned New York photographer George Maillard Kesslére, whose backstamp appears on the reverse side, inscribed and signed “To Mary / In admiration / Rudy Vallée."

Unfortuately, we could not scan the entire photograph because of its size.  The right side of the actual photograph extends beyond Vallée's ear.

This is a stunningly beautiful portrait of Vallée.  It has been irregularly trimmed to 9" x 11". There is also a small, virtually imperceptible crease in a blank area near the top.  Overall the photograph is in near mint condition.  Vallée has inscribed and signed in purple fountain pen.
