Susan Brownell Anthony, 1820–1906. Women’s rights activist. Autograph Sentiment Signed, Susan B. Anthony, affixed to a card.
This is a nice signature of Anthony clipped from a larger piece. She has written “With kind regards of / Susan B. Anthony / Rochester / N.Y.” and has added the dates of her lifetime, “1820–Feb. 15, 1903.”
The piece is irregularly clipped from an album page and mounted to 4½” x 3” card. It is uniformly toned and slightly soiled. There is a small foxing spot above Anthony’s last name. Overall, the piece is in fine condition.
Unframed.
