Hubert Horatio Humphrey, 1911-1978.  Vice President of the United States; Senator from Minnesota.  8" x 10" black-and-white photograph inscribed and signed in person, as vice president, “To Bill Decatur for his fine work in Equal Employment / Hubert H. Humphrey / 1967."

This photograph was signed in person in St. Louis, Missouri.  Humphrey used a  red felt-tip pen and signed in a dark area, so the contrast is not good, and he rubbed the glossy surface of the photograph so that the pen would write on it.  Otherwise the photograph is in fine condition, and it is a desirable piece from a giant of post-World War II American liberalism.
