Ezra Taft Benson

Ezra Taft Benson, 1899-1994.  Secretary of Agriculture; President of the Mormon Church.  Typed Letter Signed, E. T. Benson, one page, 7" x 9", October 21, 1955, on blind-embossed stationery of The Secretary of Agriculture, Washington.

Of all the Mormon church Prophets of the last few decades, Benson's autograph has been the most difficult to obtain and has become increasingly sought.  This letter has a beautiful, bold 3¾" fountain pen signature.  It has one normal mailing fold, slight creasing on the left, and tape stains across the corners from prior mounting.  The words "Miss Prine" are written in pencil in another hand at the upper left.  Overall the letter is in fine condition.
