As a collector himself, the founder of History In Ink,® Rick Schnake, knows firsthand the importance of authenticity. So when you buy from us, you can buy in confidence. We carefully check the autographs. In addition to our own experience, we have an extensive reference library and other resources that allow us to compare items to known authentic exemplars and evaluate other aspects of the items. We also research the individuals and the historical setting in which items were prepared, if necessary, in order to make sure that the items are consistent with the historical record. We unconditionally guarantee the authenticity of our autographs for life. We put the guarantee in writing in our bill of sale. If you buy an autograph from us that later is determined not to be genuine, you may return it, in the same condition, along with the original or a copy of our bill of sale, for a full refund of the purchase price.
