This is a very fine specimen. This type of document does not come better than this. Because of its size, we could not scan the entire length or width of the document, but the scans below represent the quality of this piece. The paper is very white for its age. Both Mussolini and Vittorio Emanuele have boldly signed in black fountain pen, the King with a huge 5¾” signature and Mussolini beneath it. The document has docketing notations, one horizontal fold, staple holes in a blank area at the upper left, a small impression in the top margin, a crease at the upper right, and minor paper loss in the left edge where the sheet has been removed from a book. All are well away from the signatures.
