Grace Anna Goodhue Coolidge, 1879-1957. First Lady of the United States, 1923-1929. Autograph Letter Signed, Grace Coolidge, two pages, with integral address leaf attached, on personal stationery, Northampton, Massachusetts, April 25, 1935.
The former First Lady thanks a correspondent for a photograph of her husband, President Calvin Coolidge. In part: "I . . . assure you that it will find a place in my collection of pictures taken during Mr. Coolidge's long career of public service.”
The letter is in excellent condition. The attached integral address leave is free franked, Grace Coolidge, providing a second autograph. The postal cancellation touches but does not obscure the free frank.
