Calvin Coolidge

John Calvin Coolidge, Jr., 1872–1933. 30th President of the United States, 1923-1929.  Engraved White House vignette signed Calvin Coolidge.

This 6½” x 3¾” engraving shows the north portico of the White House from the east, with a horse and carriage in the driveway. It is on cream colored card stock.  Coolidge has signed in black fountain pen.

This engraving would be wonderful in a framed display.  It has six small holes along the top edge, which apparently were used to house the engraving in a binder, and a crease line along and touching the bottoms of the holes. These could be matted out in framing. On the back there is handwritten biographical information about Coolidge, but the writing does not bleed through to the front.  Overall the piece is in very fine condition.
