This is a desirable piece, particularly for collectors who seek The White House cards, since official cards signed by Ford are extremely rare. In The History of Collecting Executive Mansion, White House, and The White House Cards Signed By Presidents and Their First Ladies (2005), Lynne E. Keyes and Stephen Koschal indicate that there appear to be no official cards signed by Ford as President, and they illustrate only two official cards that Ford genuinely signed after he left the presidency.
