George William Frederick, 1738-1820.  King of Great Britain and Ireland, 1760-1820; nominally King of France, 1760-1801; King of Hanover, 1814-1820.  Fine condition vellum Document Signed, George R, one page, 13½" x 9¼", Court of St. James's, April 6, 1797.  Countersigned by the Duke of Portland, who was twice Prime Minister of Great Britain.

We could not scan the full document because of its size, but we have scanned the bulk of it.  The King's paper and wax seal is fully intact, as is the blue £.10s.6p. revenue stamp.  The seal bears the royal arms of Great Britain, France, and Hanover.

This document is in fine condition.  It has three vertical folds, none of which touches either the King's or the Duke's signature, and there is slight wrinkling in the lower left corner.  Two ink spots slightly affect the King's signature.
