Arthur J. Goldberg

Arthur Joseph Goldberg, 1908-1990.  Associate Justice of the United States Supreme Court, 1962-1965; Ambassador to the United Nations, 1965-1968.  5" x 8" black-and-white portrait photograph of Goldberg in his judicial robes, inscribed and signed “To Martin Karp /  With every good wish  /  Arthur J. Goldberg.”

This photograph is in near mint condition.  There is one virtually imperceptible small crease through the dark portion of the photograph that shows only when the photograph is turned just right in the light.  Goldberg has boldly inscribed and signed the photograph in blue in the upper margin.
