Charles Robert Darwin, 1809–1882. English naturalist, geologist, and biologist. Bold signature, Charles Darwin, hand dated May 9th 1876. –, on a 2¼" x 4½" card.
This card is extremely nice. It is bright and still has its original sheen. It has an almost imperceptible small handling bend that touches the word "May" in the date and a tad bit of soiling near the blank left margin. Overall the card is in very fine condition.
Unframed.
