Lyndon B. Johnson

Lyndon Baines Johnson, 1908-1973.  36th President of the United States, 1963-1969. Typed Letter Signed with rare full signature, Lyndon B. Johnson, one page, 6" x 8", on stationery of the Congress of the United States, House of Representatives, Washington, D.C., April 2, 1941.  With original envelope.

The letter is absolutely pristine, with only the two normal mailing folds from the original mailing. Johnson has boldly signed it in blue fountain pen. It is richly double matted in marine blue and red suede with a color presidential portrait of Johnson and an engraved identification plate.  It is framed in a gold- and silvertone frame.
